I am always thanking the Lord that He blessed us with such wonderful neighbors. Both Emma and Joshua have a good time with them and even though Jakob and Lexi are older, they are very sweet with them. So, this year, we decided we would go apple picking with them. We had a great time and a bonus was the beautiful weather. We could not have picked a better day...oh, and of course, you can't forget about the cider donuts!

Another love
Mark was very excited to introduce Star Wars to the kids. Both Emma and Joshua actually enjoy it, but Emma has a strong desire to watch it...she has a little crush on Luke Skywalker. Yep...she actually made me take a picture of Luke on the tv. So...I have one child that is in love with a costume and thinks he's Batman and another child that has a crush on a character from Star Wars...hmmm.

Batman
So, we borrowed a "superhero" outfit from my sister....Joshua is in love!! He wears this outfit non-stop. When he has to take it off, he is not happy. We have to put the entire outfit in a box and he lovingly calls it his present. I am amazed at how long he keeps the mask on, for me, it would drive me crazy, but he loves it. The first time he wore it, he could not stop looking at himself in the mirror. Here are some pics of my little batman, as he likes to call himself.

My baby turned 3
Joshua turned 3 on sunday, although we had the party on Saturday. The entire family was there to help celebrate Joshua and the three wonderful years he has been with us. I feel truly blessed to have Joshua and Emma in my life. I am so grateful that the Lord has entrusted Mark and I with the two of them. Every day, they do something that makes me smile and thank the Lord for them. Joshua thoroughly enjoyed his birthday. It was so fun to watch him be so happy and thankful for every minute, including the opening of the gifts. Every comment that came out of his mouth was "Wow, I lub it." He said thank you to every gift he received, which has been a blessing to me...it has been keeping him pretty busy. Here are some highlighted pictures of the party. Thank you to my entire family that was at the party, it wouldn't be a party without you all. I Love you.
