Last Thursday was Emma's last day of school, but she actually has a picnic today at Blackberry Farm. It should be a lot of fun. Well, as I said, last Thursday was her last day. Her teacher handed out a certificate and a little gift for finishing the 3 year old class. To her it was a normal day, for me, it was indifferent. I was excited for her to finish, move on and for summer break to be here, but the other part of me was sad. She is growing up so fast and the year FLEW by. It was a great year for her. I am amazed at how different she is from when she started. Her social skills are so different, I guess that's the idea of pre-school. Anyway, her teacher may move to the 3 day, 4 year old class this fall, so she may end up having the same teacher...I hope, I really liked her teacher. I, of course, took some pictures. There were only 3 girls in the class of 8. I will post the picnic pictures later.

First Race
Emma ran her first race this past Saturday. It was a 100 meter yard dash. Mark joined a running club and he has to run 6 races within the year. Well, some of the races has small 1k's or smaller races for the children. So, this past weekend, Emma ran in one. It was fun for her, although she said she was scared, but she couldn't explain why. My guess is that she had the butterflies in her stomach and she thinks of that as being afraid. Anyway, each child won a medal and she was proud of that. Here are some pics of the race.

He makes me smile
Real quick...tonight, while i was getting Johsua's bath ready, I stepped away to help Emma. When I went to check on Joshua to find out what he was doing, I found that he had climbed into the bath, fully clothed and was playing in the bathtub. It was too cute. He didn't seem to mind at all. Here are some cute pics and a video. Try to not be annoyed by my annoying voice in the background. I'm not a fan of listening to myself on video.

My baby turned 4
Well, my little Emma Pie turned 4 yesterday. We had two parties for her, one with Mark's family and the other with her cousins and her friend Lillie. I still can't believe I am a mother, let alone, a mother of a 4 year old. I am so proud of the little girl she is. I love her more and more and am TRULY blessed to have her. My heart melts to know that she is mine and that I will always be her mom. Here are pictures of the party with Mark's family. Do you like the cake...yep...I made that. Emma also loved her matching outfit with her bitty baby doll. Oh, and I have to mention also, Emma had Nana, Papa, Grammy and Grampy stand in a row to sing Happy Birthday...looks like the choir doesn't it?

What keeps her busy!
The other day, while I was busy doing something, I don't remember what, I went into Emma's room to check on her. She had created this detailed game, with books, jewelry and her stuffed animals. I was quite amazed at the detail of the game. I thought to myself, how blessed I am to have a child that keeps her self busy and entertained. She wanted to take a picture of herself and the players of the game.

Phillips Park zoo Field Trip
Last week, Emma had her first school field trip. It wasn't a new place for her, but the idea that she was going with her classmates made it fun for her. Here are some pics from her trip. By the way, I'm going to be short on writing, I don't have too much time and I have two sets of pics to post. Oh, there is a picture of her, Lillie and her teacher, Ms. Linda.
